Threaded inserts put a durable, wear-resistant female thread into soft or thin parent material — aluminum structure, magnesium housings, sandwich panels — and allow repeated assembly without thread damage. They are standard practice anywhere aluminum meets a fastener that comes on and off for maintenance.

Helical-coil screw-thread inserts (MS21209 series, plus MS51830/MS51831) provide free-running and screw-locking threads in 18-8 stainless, with Inconel X-750 and phosphor bronze for high-temperature or non-magnetic needs. Solid key-locking inserts and blind threaded inserts / rivet nuts (NAS1329, NAS1330) cover higher loads and blind installations. Locking versions use a prevailing-torque coil or deformed thread — no chemical locking compound required.

Every lot ships with a Certificate of Conformance; heat-lot traceable mill material reports are available on request.
